Looking for women friends in Tallahassee Florida?

We are an interesting, supportive group of different women, and we hope to meet you at an event soon! 

Open 

• New members are always welcome - jump right in, come meet us, and start making new friends!

• Our group is open, and there is no formal membership. 

• We welcome all who identify as women looking to make connections and support each other. 

Free

• There is no charge to join our group.

• The only cost is any individual meal charges for yourself. 

• For events at restaurants, please plan to order at least something small like a drink and/or leave a few dollars for a tip. 

• Be aware that some establishments automatically add a gratuity to all checks for larger parties.

• As a group, we are using the establishment parking, restrooms, tables/chairs, etc., and public lodging and food service establishments have the right to ask disruptive and/or non-paying guests to leave.

• If your finances do not allow for this, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for assistance. We want to support businesses in our area that accommodate our group, but we don’t want this to be a barrier to your attendance and participation.

RSVPs

• No RSVP is required, but you can use FB or or contact womenintally@gmail to RSVP if you wish.

• No worries if you change your mind - we are a guilt free group!

• You do not have to come to everything, just pick what works best for you and your schedule.

• Come to any event at any time, you are always welcome, and we love meeting new people!

• Get busy and miss for a while? We would be happy to see you again and catch up - really!

Guidelines

• We like to get together for fun, food, and conversation - we really just enjoy each other’s company and stories. 

• We ask everyone to respect and honor the experiences and opinions of each individual in our group. 

• Life is hard, and our group is friendly, safe, kind, and supportive.

• If you regularly attend and enjoy our group, you are welcome to pitch your idea and host events.

• No to Solicitation - To keep our group focused on connection and support, our events do not promote or sell products, services, fundraisers, or business ventures. 

• Yes to Celebration - We do believe in celebrating the accomplishments of our members. From time to time, we may spotlight group members, such as local authors, artists, or entrepreneurs. These spotlights will be shared at the discretion of the group organizers, and in a way that aligns with the spirit and values of our community. 

• Thank you for helping us maintain a space that’s grounded in encouragement, not promotion.

History

• 2017 Tallahassee Women's Social Meetup started on Meetup.com by original founder

• 2017 January - First meeting at Red Eye Coffee in Midtown

• 2017 July - New organizer starts when original founder moves 

• 2017-2025 - Eight years and over 500 events!

• 2025 June and July - Rename group Women in Tally, two organizers setup website and Facebook for communication

Bring $5 cash and join us to play Bunco-no experience necessary! 

• Bunco is held at a neighborhood association site, and our resident attendees can bring a limited number of guests.

• There will be a jackpot for the player with the most Buncos, and smaller winnings for other things.

• Bunco is a fun and easy dice game that you can learn in 5 minutes. 

• Everyone is friendly and helpful to new players!

• We will have all the supplies so just bring yourself and a smile!

• You are welcome to bring drinks/snacks to share with the group.

• We have two local authors in our group, check them out - Leslie Noyes and D.S. Marquis

• List of books we have read so far.

We sometimes schedule lunches, dinners, and other activities. 

These do not have a regular day/time, but are typically nights and/or weekends.
